A shin-deep layer of cold mist blankets the ground here. V-shaped wakes flitter across its surface, though what produces them cannot be seen or sensed. The sky here seems to wear a cloak, like the ocean. From this high vantage the surrounding landscape can be seen, but it does not appear as you would expect: instead of the bright glint of ice-formations, strangely-formed mountains, or even the sparkle of tundral vastness, what you see are muted horizons, perpetual grey sunsets, and blurred shadows that might be landforms, or might be slowly-walking figures that light does not illuminate.
