A tale told by a weatherbeaten stone in the side of a pyramid is of a figure in the charcoal duststorms and the eyes atop the watchtower that beheld it. The figure brought the colossal rains, and the eyes closed in distress. The figure held a torch from which billowed clouds as dark as the ink of dwellers in the deep, and the eyes squinted. The eyes blinked, and then the figure was gone.
