Nadir of the Blood Heath, where flows the mangled detritus of years. From the distance it appears as a red-brown lake, but on approach it becomes clear that it is a basin clouded by a miasmic haze. Within the haze is a viscous murk, and waves lap the shores in accordance with unknown tides. Islands and pillars peak upwards from the blood-water, and a spiderweb of rivulets from all across the heath trickle towards it always.
