The tier on which the grounds are woven of bonestrands, like a tight mesh. It crunches underfoot like the ribcages of mice. The further in one travels, the further towards the spindle-axis of this ever-rising cascade, the larger the bones become. It is thought that beyond the Howling Ryve, the bones, winding through one another like a nest of serpents, are larger than mountains. Other say the entire Bonetwine is but a singular ossic contortion from a creature far larger than those known to scholars.
